To set up your mailbox on an Apple iPhone or iPad, you need to:

  • Open Settings > Mail > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account, then you’ll need to fill the right configurations for your mailbox:

Name: Anything
Email: example@yourdomain.com
Password: Mailbox Password
Description: Work, Business…etc

IMAP:

Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: example@yourdomain.com
Password: Mailbox Password

Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: example@yourdomain.com
Password: Mailbox Password

Once you’ve finished setting up the mail account, click on save and then edit the account, press on advanced and turn off the SSL.

Finally, go back and press on SMTP under “Outgoing Mail Server”. Primary Server > Use SSL should be also turned off.

If you already have this email account set-up on your iPhone for a pre-existing account (prior to migrating to our new platform), we would normally recommend deleting the account first, then re-instating it again using the method above.
