Zincweb are a small company, this means I am dealing with the people actually carrying out the work rather than a customer support team.
Brilliant Red Consulting carried out an independent survey as part of the Marketing Advance programme undertaken by us under a Scottish Enterprise initiative.
During the survey, numerous attempts were made both by telephone and email to contact 49 clients who appeared on the contact list. 29 surveys were completed in total, which constitutes a 59% response rate.
I didn’t look around for other companies, Zincweb was recommended by a friend.
During the survey process, all clients were asked identical questions and probed in a similar manner to ensure that the results of the telephone survey would be as comparative as possible.
The survey itself was quite comprehensive and combined questions of an open-ended nature along with typical survey type questions where the client was provided with a number of options to choose from. The questions covered all aspects of Zincweb Internets’ business including their service levels, marketing and competition.
I don’t know who their competitors are.
The results of the 29 surveys, which were carried out successfully, have been summarised in this report to aid and assist simple evaluation of responses. However, copies of all completed surveys can be found in the appendix. Where a selection of clients’ comments is provided for a specific question in the report, all other comments made in relation to that question can be found in the individual surveys in our full report appendix.

When asked to name what they considered to be Zincweb Internet's main competitive strengths, 24 out of the 29 clients were able to offer suggestions, with many offering a number of strengths. The comments were not easily quantified so those with the most mentions were illustrated in the graph in the appendix and the others are listed here.
